Common questions

I bought the Case Pass but Files 02 and 03 are still locked

Open Files, tap a locked file, then Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID that made the purchase. If it still does not unlock, email us with the date of purchase.

I cannot type to VERA, only tap choices

Free-text messages use Apple Intelligence on the device. That needs an iPhone 15 Pro or later on iOS 26 with Apple Intelligence turned on in Settings. Every file is fully playable with the tap choices alone; typing is a bonus, not a requirement.

VERA answered something strange

VERA is a character, and its typed replies are generated on your phone. Sometimes they miss. Tap a choice to bring the conversation back to the script. If a reply was offensive or broke the story, send it to us with Report a problem.

Does the app read my real messages or photos?

No. The phone you explore is fictional and ships inside the app. The app never asks for access to your contacts, photos, messages, location or microphone. See the privacy policy.

Can I replay a file for the other ending?

Yes. On the ending screen tap Play again, or open Files and start the case over. Endings you have reached are shown on each file's card.

The 25-second warning never arrived

Timed events run on the clock, not on your taps. If you left the app they fire when you come back. If nothing happens after a minute, close the case and open it again.

Haptics, motion, text size

Haptics can be switched off in Settings inside the app. The app honours iOS Reduce Motion, Dynamic Type up to the largest accessibility sizes, and VoiceOver.

Refunds

Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
